パスファインダー専用。

ハイジャンプ直後、遠くまでジャンプすると見せかけてまた元の位置に戻るテクニック。

応用すれば敵の背後を取れる。（ただし熟練プレイヤーにはむしろ簡単に読まれる）

操作自体は簡単で、ハイジャンプ成功後、横キーを押しながら着弾点を見続けることでグラップルが持続する。
